This text is still Booth’s and talks about translation. It will be rewritten for MeetScribe before launch: meetings are recorded on your device and never reach our server.

MeetScribe sets one cookie to keep you signed in. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, so there’s nothing to accept.

NameWhat it doesKept for
__Host-ms_sessionKeeps you signed in. Scripts can’t read it and it’s sent only to this site.30 days, or until you sign out
__Secure-ms_oauth_stateProtects “Continue with Google” against forged links; only during that sign-in.10 minutes

Your browser also remembers your last languages, options, volume and whether you hid the tips (pfs.prefs), and the language of this site (meetscribe.lang). It also keeps a copy of MeetScribe’s own pages and scripts, so the installed app opens quickly. None of this holds personal data, it stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Pages load nothing from other services, except a voice sample from our speech provider, Palabra, when you press play on it, and the video encoder from jsDelivr the first time you export a video.
