What are we recording?

Your own library, or a team’s, which the whole team reads. A team’s meeting uses the team’s minutes.
    Where the sound comes from
    A loopback device hears what the computer plays. Use headphones, or the microphone picks the speakers up twice.
    Live text
    Text while the meeting goes on. Off is cheaper: the whole meeting is transcribed after the stop.

    So that your own words are in the transcript, not only the others’.
    Cut out talk that isn’t about work
    Small talk before the start, sound checks, personal chat don’t get into the saved meeting. The minutes are made at once to find them.
    Remove personal data
    E-mail, phone numbers, bank cards, IBAN and document numbers become labels right in this browser. Names stay.

    With live text, the summary on the recording screen points out what’s asked of you.

              Who gets into the space. An invitation link works for anyone; a company domain lets in every verified address at it (Google sign-in). Google groups come later: they need the Workspace admin’s consent.

                  Keys stay on the server. A browser only ever gets a pass that works for a minute.

                  Storage

                  The team’s meetings are encrypted in the members’ browsers with the team’s key. The server keeps only ciphertext; nobody outside the team can open them, the team’s admins included unless they’re members.

                  The team’s library

                  “Always”: small talk and personal chat, or e-mails, phone numbers, cards and document numbers, are removed from the team’s meetings before anyone else can read them.
